It was a small but mighty group that joined C3MD’s Coffee & Collaboration on Higher Purpose via Zoom on Tuesday morning, April 19th. We all introduced ourselves and what brought us to the discussion and shared some great definitions and resources around higher purpose, core values, knowing your WHY, and more… And then we remembered to hit “record!”
C3MD President Liz Richardson, co-founder of Indigo Ink Digital Printing, kicked us off and shared some of the pre-reading/viewing links with the group:

C3MD Board Member Wendy Baird, president of insight180 brand consulting & design, said that her company works regularly with clients on defining, clarifying, and differentiating their brands and that sometimes closely examining “core values” and other foundational brand building blocks can help to define and align an organization’s broader purpose. She shared a recently published blog she wrote about it with the group.
Participants talked about audiences, stakeholders, conscious culture, and how they defined purpose in relation to their organizations, whether for-profit or nonprofit. It was a great discussion overall! Take a look at the video on our YouTube channel, if you’d like to hear more.
