A few weeks ago a small group of conscious business owners gathered at Sapwood Cellars for a low key evening of networking and sipping artisan, locally made libations in a cool, consciously driven space.
While we love the virtual coffee meetings for convenience sake, we love connecting in person with familiar and—especially new—faces.
C3MD Board Members Paul Merena (Multicorp Inc.), Jeff Agnor (Davis, Agnor, Rapaport, and Skalny), Kevin Howard (Kevin Howard CPA), Tracy Turner (Intermodal Association of North America), and Maria Villani (The Wendy Slaughter Team at Vybe Realty) enjoyed meeting entrepreneurs of all spaces including life coaching, commercial painting, nonprofits, IT and business consulting.
Here are a few photos of the small, yet mighty group of attendees from this fun evening:

Coming Up? June’s (virtual) Event:
Now more than ever it’s paramount to connect with like-minded business professionals who embody similar values and echo the tenets of conscious business practices. Curious? Join us for our next virtual meeting, a culture focused workshop led by Mary Jo Neil. “Coffee, Culture & Connection: A joy-filled, culture-focused workshop with Mary Jo Neil.”
Save the date for our next *Virtual* event on Tuesday, June 17th at 8 AM. Culture isn’t just a buzzword—it’s the heartbeat of any conscious business. At C3MD, we believe that a company’s culture shapes everything from employee engagement to customer experience to long-term success. It’s one of the four pillars of Conscious Capitalism, and for good reason: when people feel valued, heard, and connected, they do their best work—and help build organizations that are not only profitable, but purposeful.
Join us for a dynamic morning workshop over coffee as we explore this essential pillar with Mary Jo Neil, a fellow C3MD member and the founder ofDrawn Dialogue.Mary Jo is a Certified Humor Professional, visual practitioner, and expert in applied improvisation. Through her work, she helps individuals and teams unlock creativity, improve communication, and—most importantly—connect with joy.
In this one-hour session, Mary Jo will lead us through a blend of lecture and interactive exercises designed to demonstrate how humor, visuals, and improv can break down barriers and spark genuine connection—key ingredients for building a thriving company culture. You must register to attend this event. View details and get your tickets to this popular event on our website.
